Susana is a Certified Yoga Therapist* accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapy (IAYT) offering Yoga Therapy private, group sessions and series in the Portland area, in the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar.


She graduated as a Certified Yoga Therapist after the completion of the American Viniyoga Institute (AVI) Yoga Therapy Training Program.

What is Yoga Therapy?

"Yoga therapy is the professional application of the principles and practices of yoga to promote health and well-being within a therapeutic relationship that includes personalized assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practices for individuals or small groups."


What do we do? 

  • Assess needs and interests of the client

  • Set goals     

  • Define strategies using tools of the Yoga Tradition

  • Design a therapeutic intervention

  • Develop a personalized home practice

  • Reassess to calibrate and tailor the practice

  • Empower the individual to progress toward improved health and well-being
